Private Home Care may be the perfect fit for your elderly loved one

This Private Care Home is operated by Suzette Duhaney. Suzette has worked with the elderly and their families for over 25 years in private care and facility care. She has studied psychology, sociology, geriatrics and gerontology, and brings a wealth of knowledge, understanding and compassion to caring for the elderly and helping families during this tough time.

The home can accommodate 4 residents and all residents and family members will have complete access to full geriatric care management services and planning through Care Connect of Hampton Roads.

Care Connect partnered with Suzette and her elder care company IC Duncan Home of Guiding Hands because they share our philosophy of providing a holistic, quality approach to affordable elder care.

Pros and cons of a Private Care Home

Many seniors who are transitioning from living independently to long-term care are faced with choosing between a Private Care Home and an assisted living facility. Like everything in life, each has their own advantages and disadvantages. Some seniors and families prefer Private Care Homes over assisted living because Private Care Homes:
